Opportunities
Sponsorship
Sponsorship of the AIBC Annual Conference provides
a prime opportunity for organizations to strengthen
brand recognition while accessing hundreds of potential
clients, partners and colleagues. The AIBC offers
four sponsorship tiers to choose from, each with a
select range of benefits. Sponsors may choose to sponsor
conference streams or individual sessions; meals;
social events; professional recognition celebrations;
and much more. With opportunities flexibly priced
from $10,000 - $1,500, there’s something to
fit every budget. Our key audience and personalized
approach keeps sponsors coming back year after year.

(valued at $125 each).
Second Tier Sponsorship Opportunities
Gala Production Sponsor {$7,500}

& Awards Gala with this newly introduced sponsorship
opportunity. The Gala Production Sponsor helps bring
the 2009 Annual AIBC Architectural Awards to life
through a high-end digital multi-media presentation.
Induction / Retirement Ceremony {$5,000}
For some, this is the most heartfelt of all AIBC events
– a celebration of storied careers as well as
the beginnings of new ones. Join members, industry
stakeholders, families and friends in celebrating
both those being inducted to the ranks of the AIBC
as well as those retiring from the profession. This
special evening of celebration and inspiration will
also feature a signature speaker to entertain the
audience with stories and anecdotes about the prestigious
profession of architecture.
Keynote Speaker: Professor Geraint John {$5,000}
Each year, the AIBC Annual Conference features a world
renowned keynote speaker. Past VIPs include Shigeru
Ban, Joshua Ramus and Teddy Cruz. Your company’s
name will be attached to this high profile talk, guaranteeing
maximum exposure.
Conference Session Stream {$5000}
Provide ongoing presence for your organization by sponsoring
a session stream. This is a great option to increase
brand recognition and relationships within a specific
sector of the built design community. Refer to the
AIBC web site for detailed stream information.
In addition to Third and Fourth Tier sponsorship
benefits, Second Tier benefits include:
- Opportunity to distribute company promotional
material at your sponsored event.
Third Tier Sponsorship Opportunities
Full-Day and Half-Day CES {$3,000/$2,000}
There’s nothing like a captive audience to get
your message across. Choose from a Full-Day or Half-Day
CES course and target your message to your audience.
CES sessions are attended by a minimum of 50 attendees
and some sessions have attendance of over 100. With
a wide variety of topics and exciting speakers, there’s
bound to be an opportunity that suits your budget
and needs.
Annual Meeting {$2,500}
Once a year, all AIBC registrants are invited to the
Annual Meeting to become informed of previous and
future activities. The Annual Meeting is a valuable
opportunity to reach a key audience.
Wine and Receptions {$2,500}
Cocktails, friendly banter and the pleasure of being
among peers and colleagues. Receptions start every
major evening event at the AIBC Annual Conference
and your company can be a part of them. With hundreds
of delegates attending, they are among the best social
networking opportunities during the conference and
an effective means of raising your organization’s
profile.
Conference Kits {$2,500}
Over 600 people attend the Annual Conference each year,
and each one will have a Conference Kit in hand. The
AIBC Conference Kits are a valuable opportunity to
get your name across to every conference delegate.
Lunches {$2,500}
Everyone needs a good lunch. Each conference lunch
is themed with different speakers and events, making
them fun-filled and memorable. Choose from the Architecture
Foundation of BC Lunch, the Volunteer Recognition
Lunch, or Lunch with the Minister.
In addition to Fourth Tier sponsorship benefits,
Third Tier benefits include:
- Introduction and acknowledgement of sponsorship
at the event sponsored;
- Complimentary admission to your sponsored event
for two;
- Opportunity for sponsor to address sponsored event
attendees; and
- Two complimentary tickets to the President’s
Dinner & Awards Gala (valued at $125 each).
Fourth Tier Sponsorship Opportunities
CES Session {$1,500}
There are numerous workshops and sessions to choose
from, on a wide range of topics, each attracting between
50 and 100 attendees. Attach yourself to a session
most in line with your product or services.
Refreshments {$1,500}
With two breaks a day, there are six opportunities
to reach conference delegates. Morning and afternoon
breaks are prime times to distribute your materials
into the hands of hundreds of conference delegates,
so set up a display and bring lots of brochures.
Breakfasts {$1,500}
The beginning of every day. Breakfasts are well attended
and an opportunity to meet and speak with delegates
before the start of daily CES sessions. This sponsorship
opportunity entitles your organization to set up a
display and distribute materials during one of these
popular breakfast gatherings.
Gala Photography Sponsor {$1,000}
Make a lasting impression by sponsoring the professional
photography at the President’s Dinner &
Awards Gala. By making it possible for the award recipients
to take away a photographic reminder of their achievement,
you will have helped to make a special evening that
much more memorable.
Fourth Tier sponsorship benefits include:
- Acknowledgement, including corporate logo,
as sponsor of the event in the conference
program; in architectureBC magazine
(distribution of 3,500); on the conference
web page; and in the AIBC weekly e-newsletter;
- Acknowledgement of sponsorship through signage
at the sponsored event; and
- Acknowledgement, including corporate logo,
in the 2009 AIBC Annual Report (distribution
of more than 3,000).
Exhibitors
Conference Exhibitor Option {$1,500}
Exhibiting at the AIBC Annual Conference provides an
excellent opportunity to connect directly with the
architectural community and its allied professionals.
For $1,500, exhibitors are on-site throughout all
three days of the conference, displaying promotional
materials and product samples. Most importantly, they
are able to engage in meaningful dialogue with potential
clients and collaborators. Exhibitors can also build
brand recognition through print and web acknowledgement
in conference materials, including on the conference
web site and in individual delegate kits. Exhibitor
feedback from previous years has been outstanding,
and this option is guaranteed to sell out. Space is
limited, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity.
