Submission Criteria
LG & Innovation Awards
Each entry must be submitted in its own 8½" x 11", black, three-ring, anonymous binder (Binders and CD-ROMs are cross-referenced using the project credit sheet. Please ensure the architects’ or firms’ name appear only on the CD-ROM and credit sheets). Only one binder is required per project.
Submissions must also include a 30" x 30" project poster, mounted on foamcore for future display.

The project credit sheet will not be shown to the jury, but all credits on medals, certificates and publicity will be based on the information provided. The AIBC will use the order in which names are provided as the official sequence; any errors or omissions are the responsibility of the entrant. Client/Owner Permission
- A brief statement of release from the client/owner for project entry, giving the AIBC permission to use award results, descriptions and project images in any media, is required. The signature of the Lead Design Architect(s) will be accepted as proof of client satisfaction and release. If the client/owner supplies a separate letter, attach it to the project credit sheet. Signature of the Lead Design Architect(s) may be submitted in either hand-written or official electronic version(s).
Project Description Sheet
The project description sheet will be shown to the jury. Please insert one typed, single-sided 8½" x 11" sheet back-to-back with the project credit sheet in the second transparent sleeve of the binder. Under the project name as title, make the case for why the entry is worthy of consideration in this award category, using supporting paragraphs or bullet-points to describe how the project demonstrates excellence according to the judging criteria. Do not list the firm or architect name on the description sheet; all entries are judged on an anonymous basis.
Project Presentation Sheets
Insert a maximum of six double-sided or 12 single-sided, back-to-back 8½" x 11" sheets into a maximum of six transparent sleeves in the binder. Use any photographs, renderings, sections or other visual project descriptions desired. Descriptive text is acceptable (except for the firm or architect name(s), although the project title may be used). Jury members will consider the quality of project presentation as well as the project itself in their deliberations. Do not include oversized inserts, folded plans, firm name or architect name; all entries are judged on a standard-size, anonymous basis.
Project CD-ROM
Insert a maximum of one CD-ROM, containing a maximum of six .tif images (300 dpi minimum) in the entry binder. The CD-ROM must be PC-compatible, and its case or sleeve must be labeled with the project name, image numbers and image or photographer credit(s). Use the project name and image numbers only when saving files. These images will be digitally projected during the adjudication process and may also be used for print and website purposes.
