Saturday Site Visit: Olympic Village at Southeast False Creek

Take advantage of the opportunity to tour the Olympic Village on Southeast False Creek, temporary home for the athletes who competed in the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and certified as LEED® Platinum, making it one of the greenest, most energy efficient and sustainable neighbourhood in the world. Go behind the scenes to learn more about the many innovative features that have raised the bar in sustainable design, including mixed use, habitat restoration, and the city’s first district-wide renewable heating system. The site visit will be led by two of the project’s key contributors: Roger Bayley P.Eng, Principal – Roger Bayley Inc.; and Walter Francl MAIBC – Walter Francl Architecture Inc.
