Complete each of the Professional Development (PD) courses required for Intern Architects. The AIBC provides courses that are mandatory for Foreign Trained Architects (FTAs) as well as Broadly Experienced Architects (BEAs) and Intern Architects (IAs). Each candidate must complete a total of six PD courses. They are typically offered two or three times each year and must be completed prior to attending the Oral Review, the final step in the registration process. Once they have opened a file with the AIBC, FTA and BEA candidates can register for courses at the Intern Architect rate as listed on the course registration form.
